Marijke Hopman-Rock

Professor emeritus of Physical Activity and Health of Older Adults. Marijke Hopman-Rock (1951) worked with TNO (Netherlands for applied scientific research) in Leiden (1987-2013; voluntary till 2017) and is professor (emeritus) of Physical activity and health of older persons at the Amsterdam (VU) university medical center in Amsterdam (2008-2013 voluntary till May 2024). She held a position in the management team of the Body@Work research center Physical activity, Work and Health TNO VU medical center. Her professional background is Biology, Psychology (statistics) and Epidemiology (PhD).
